About Jay

My journey to sovereignty

I'm Jay: a psychologist, traveller, growth & mental wellness coach. But first and foremost, I'm someone who has walked through the darkness and found my way back home to myself.

My Story

Like many of the people I work with, I spent years focusing on what's outside of me: accomplishments, people, relationships, success – while constantly abandoning myself and feeling empty inside. I struggled with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, lack of boundaries, low self‑esteem, and anxious attachment. But I learned to hide it all behind a caring, smiling, put‑together exterior. Only the people closest to me saw my struggle.

In 2021, the tragic loss of a loved one intensified the pain I had silently carried for years and drove me deeper into depression. I spent the next couple of years in a dark, hopeless place.

The turning point came when I decided I no longer wanted my life and my relationships to be driven and controlled by my trauma. I finally stopped running from myself and my pain. I began the deep, often uncomfortable work of healing: exploring inner child work, diving into shadow integration, learning to befriend all the parts of me I had rejected, and returning to my wholeness.

Through this journey, I discovered something profound: healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about coming home to yourself – creating an inner sanctuary where every part of you is welcomed, not just the parts you think are acceptable.

Today, I combine my clinical training as a psychologist with my lived experience of healing to guide others on this path. I understand the science of trauma, attachment theory, and neuroplasticity – but I also understand the human experience of feeling stuck, broken, or lost.

This work is my calling. Watching someone reconnect with their sovereign self – that unshakable inner knowing – is the greatest privilege I know.

If any of this feels familiar, you don't have to walk this path alone.

My Approach

Lived Experience

I don't just teach theory: I have lived through the struggle. This means I meet you where you are with genuine understanding, not clinical detachment.

Evidence-Based Tools

Grounded in psychology: attachment theory, neuroplasticity, parts work, and somatic approaches. Real science for real transformation.

Unconditional Acceptance

Self-love, radical authenticity, and self-compassion are not buzzwords here: they are the foundation of everything we do together.

This space is for everyone.

I'm committed to helping people from all backgrounds feel seen, safe, and empowered. Your story, your identity, and your journey are valid here: exactly as you are.
